Custom Icons on the Powerbuilder Toolbar
Adding custom icons to the PowerBuilder toolbar is fairly simple. Having your PowerBuilder and PFC manuals just a click away is very convenient.
Right click on the PowerBuilder IDE toolbar.
On the menu that displays, click "Customize..."
Select the "Custom" radio button to see the list of available icons.
Drag the icon you want to the position it belongs on the toolbar.
Fill in this information:
Command Line: hh.exe C:\sybase\PowerBuilder 10.0\Help\pbman100.chm
Item Text: PB Manual
Item Microhelp: PowerBuilder 10 Manual
hh.exe is the HTMLHelp application that displays .CHM files. You may need to change the path and the file name depending on your PB version and where you installed it.
You can use this method on other CHM files, Acrobat files, or .HLP files. You can even launch applications such as Word or Excel with icons on the PowerBuilder toolbar.
